Called in on the off chance they were dog friendly and we could get some food…. Lovely inside. Cosy, casual, and relaxed atmosphere. We both had the parsnip soup to start, it was nice, and the focaccia bread that came with it was amazing! My partner got the wagyu burger, and I got the rump steak. My goodness me it was delicious. Warm and welcoming, two fires going so great after a long walk to warm up. The food was delicious and plenty of it two good sized rooms with good space between tables , also great for big groups . On average our group was 5 we had 4 starters 5 mains 3 desserts 1 bottle of wine 2 cokes 3 liquor coffees £45 a head if divided by 5 so I think that’s reasonable for good quantity and quality hospitality

The best vegan Sunday Lunch. Fresh and delicious. Finally somewhere that caters for non meat eaters. Home grown veggies and herbs. Always a cosy place to walk the dogs to and Jo and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
