Always quiet when I've been in but that's usually through the early afternoon, friendly staff. Only reason I've deducted 2 stars is because my Stella tasted like Potato Peelings and my Coors tasted like Satsumas. If I'm leaving a pint there must be something wrong.
Just been to this pub for a drink and felt extremely safe upon entry as our details were taken And we were shown to a seat and served by the staff. Once in other customers were walking about without masks and mingling with other tables and hugging each other with no response from the staff. When I asked the landlord about it I was told it was hard for them as they were trying to maintain a balance with keeping their local customers happy. I stop here for one pint of John smiths every now and then. Its alright. Be a good local bar as bar man seems friendly especially with people he seems to know. Pint cheap and cold. Seems to be a good selection as well.
