Old Rd, Alderbury, SalisburyCalled in by chance and enjoyed the most amazing dining experience for many years. Absolutely faultless from the friendly welcome to the last bite of lunch. My wife had the fish and chips. Portion size was spot on and the chips were perfect with fish in crispy batter and delicious tartare sauce. I enjoyed the Moroccan chicken, stunning! Having said all that what made our experience so special was the service. Good service is such a rare commodity and while some restaurants have the odd star The Green Dragon obviously takes training their staff very seriously. The attention to detail was consistently outstanding and what was obvious was how happy they were in their work and that just leads to a brilliant atmosphere. That’s it I’ve run out of superlatives! Well done the new management for setting the bar so high and we can’t wait to see you again. Go and remind yourself what good service and delicious food are like together!! Thank you.

The Hook and Glove at Farley
The St, Farley, SalisburyMe and my partner absolutely love this beautiful village pub, we cycle over most weekends for a quick midway tipple and occasionally a bite to eat. Very reasonable and staff/landlords are top. The setting will not be beaten, picturesque is an understatement.
