High St, Woodgreen, FordingbridgeCame here for my mums birthday with all the family. Really nice food, atmosphere and even though it was busy service was still pretty good. I would recommend booking as it’s always pretty busy here. The only thing I was surprised by is there’s no kids menu, however they do make everything in smaller sizes for kids.

26 High St, FordingbridgeVisited Bridges several times when viewing houses and trying to move to the area, and continue to do so now! Staff always lovely, good service, varied menu and tasty food - plus excellent milkshakes! Lovely little cafe, would recommend booking during busy periods as it's popular (because it's so good!). Frequently meet with friends and family there if having a coffee or lunch catch-up.

Bat & Ball
Breamore, FordingbridgeWe visited the Bat & Ball on a Saturday night and couldn't believe how quiet it was, particularly considering the quality of the food on offer. My wife and I both had the lamb and mint pie and were in agreement that it was the best pie/meal we've had I along time. The staff were attentive without being overbearing and the owner checked on us at regular intervals. If anywhere deserves to be a success, its this place. Fingers crossed they make a go of it.

9 Provost St, FordingbridgeThe chicken and lamb shish kebab was amazing, so much for the price. Kids meals are huge, pizza a good size for a 5yo and loads of chips. The popcorn chicken was 'spicy' according to mu kids but we liked them. Good place to visit if you are staying at Sandy Balls as much cheaper than eating there. You can take away or eat in store.Parking: Few spaces out the front of shopKid-friendliness: They were friendly to my kids and gave them a lolly which kept the kids happy.

The Fighting Cocks Pub
Godshill, FordingbridgeRecommended by Sandra at the National Dog Training Academy. The burger was awesome and it was the first time our dog has ever been in a pub and it was lovely that he was bought over a bowl of water and we were super proud that he was on his best behaviour (not reacting to another dog that barked at him)
