The Dog and Fox Inn, 33 Ashley Rd, Bradford-on-AvonMy wife and I were in our campervan touring Pembrokeshire and Wales for an over a week. We were in our last stop heading back home and found this delightful pub, they had an amazing band playing called Sticks rock and roll band. Clive and Roz the owners were very hospitable and went above and beyond even posting my sunglasses when I left them behind. Definitely recommend, lovely food and such a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be returning

Everyone should come here. An undiscovered gem that is 100% worth the visit.

The staff were so great with everyone, ensuring the meals went to the right people smoothly and glasses were topped up. We are honestly so grateful to everyone here for what they did for us. Separate to that we love coming here in the summer for drinks, it’s chilled and always so pleasant.

The Castle Inn
10 Mount Pleasant, Bradford-on-AvonStopped here for food en route back to south Wales after visiting Longleat. Not a big choice on the menu, but more than the previous place we looked at, and specials also available. Friendly staff and good food, we enjoyed the fish of the day (sea bass), chicken schnitzel, and cheesecake desserts. Would definitely come back if we are in the area.

The Longs Arms
Upper South Wraxall, Bradford-on-AvonFood was delicious, staff friendl. Atmosphere was that of a traditional old English pub with a little pizzazz.
I will say however, I felt it was a little overpriced for a Sunday roast. £37 for a roast beef is in my opinion too steep, but it was good food.
Would I go back? Probably not at that price.

Widbrook Grange Hotel, Trowbridge Rd, Bradford-on-AvonWe just got married here (25th November 2024) and we cannot recommend enough. From the moment we arrived Claire & the team were fantastic. They were on hand whenever needed, provided a 5* service the whole time. The food was lush and the room was beautiful. The added touches did not go unnoticed. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the day so relaxing and perfect. We will be back for sure and would recommend having your wedding here. First class and we especially liked the rustic feel to it. So clean and tidy. Thank you to everyone who made our stay and our wedding, the best experience ever!!

Only deducting a mark for atmosphere because the music they were playing was pretty gross (sorry whoever’s playlist that was but I hate your taste in country music) - but it wasn’t too loud and didn’t spoil our visit.

Be very careful if parking in the adjacent parking (not associated with No 10 Tea Garden) as I overstayed by a short time and ended up with a £100 fine. We had the tomatoes to start, and I had the pork for my main. The pork can in four different ways and all were delicious. The dishes were also expertly presented, and the beer selection was diverse.
This is a must if you’re in the area.

Food was fresh, super tasty but not too heavy and the restaurant itself stylish and lovely and clean with a good feel! Asked for somewhere warm when I booked and we were popped by the heater, nice touch! When we left I had to give Tuti a hug because he was SUCH a nice man! We’ve found our go-to favourite Indian restaurant when we come to Bradford on Avon and will be back to see you Tuti for sure! We’d highly recommend!

24a Bridge St, Bradford-on-AvonVery famous old tea rooms. The little house is so old and its incredible just going in through the teeny door transports you into a different world. Loved that the staff wore period appropriate uniforms. It was delicious. It gets very busy and some items are pricey, but everyone was kind and the set was delightful. Tea was, as one would expect, fantastic quality.

Great beer and other drinks with a limited - but high quality - menu of food.
The terraced garden runs down to the river and is fabulous to visit during sunny weather.
