Absolutely gorgeous place to visit especially in the sunny weather, we visited with friends for a Sunday roast, parking was a little difficult but we found a spot, not the pubs fault at all as it’s owned by a different company for the area.But the pub, food & staff were great, we sat outside on the decking overlooking the canal and the most beautiful scenery, the food was top notch, great sized portions, and reasonably priced. Beautiful setting but this olde hostelry needs help for the future. A food menu with a wider selection and which isn't further limited at peak times (Sat) would, I believe, go a long way. Reducing portion sizes & cost /price, could perhaps be considered too? The meals that were able to be served were very good.

Lovely setting beside the river with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor on 3 levels. Dog friendly even has a water station. So clean and welcoming. Excellent friendly staffing. Good food choices including children's menu. Wish we could have stayed longer but passing through on narrowboatThank
