The greyhound is hands down the best pub in the area, fantastic home cooked food, lovely atmosphere and the warmest welcome. All the staff are incredibly friendly and professional, what more could you ask for. It's an old school country pub of which are few and far between and we can't wait for our next visit.
We had been to the Greyhound previously for a family Sunday lunch and promised ourselves we would return. When we found ourselves nearby on a cold Thursday night, we popped in on the off chance that they might be able to squeeze us in. We were lucky to be seated immediately. We both ordered the slow cooked pork - perfect for a cold winter night. Fantastic meal out for my birthday today. My husband booked (as a surprise) for 7 of us. Atmosphere lovely, food delicious, all staff lovely and friendly, everything was very good. We’ll be back!
