It was quite busy, but we managed to get a table and ordered their Carbonara and Crispy Chicken Ciabatta. We waited about 40 mins till the food arrived. We were very underwhelmed. The Carbonara was over seasoned and the Bacon was extremely salty an it had obviously sitting under heat for a long time as it was extremely dry. The Ciabatta was thrown together and the chips were just warm and dry. It’s a shame as the staff are really good
Good selection of real ales/wines and adequate menu choices. Service was speedy and quality of food was excellent. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable.The decor and overall ambience made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.Perhaps a wider range of ice cream would be a plus.Vegetarian options: Not my priority, being in the meat eating majority

Tender and the right amount of fat on my piece of beef as part of the Sunday roast. I liked the beers and food in general, but my wife’s overall experience could’ve been better food wise. My wife’s piece was unfortunately not as juicy and great as mine.
