We really enjoyed our stay here for a weekend. Very clean room and we were lucky enough to have an ensuite with a separate bath and shower. We had dinner in the pub downstairs on the first night and it was delicious. Unfortunately we were too late to put in a breakfast order for Monday morning as we got back late on Sunday evening (after 5pm). But there was a good farm shop breakfast nearby. What a lovely surprise! A gorgeous old English pub, beautifully presented. Plenty of off street parking (no fee), a lovely beer garden with plenty of tables and seating and a bar that welcomes you to stay. I stayed for 2 nights in a very well appointed room, with en suite, overlooking the garden. Modern decor with a salute to the past (see photos). Great stay. Sean and Nigel were great hosts, very welcoming and friendly and super helpful. Great pub downstairs, very comfortable beds and clean rooms. 10/10 would recommend! Beautiful location and an easy bus ride into bath.
