Super food, excellent flavours. extremely generous portions. Staff were incredibly lovely. After London and Bath, this felt so homely and welcoming. Enjoyed having a nosey at the memorabilia and even spotting the 'Chris Martin' piano, which led to a surprising result when investigating online!
Fantastic Sunday lunch - second time I’ve been here for lunch and it was exceptional both times. Quantity, quality and value are all excellent- I wouldn’t hesitate to return over and over again and to recommend to anyone yet to decide. Dog friendly too tho space is tight so wld suggest if you have a dog that’s not overly comfortable being in an environment with other dogs then you leave it behind (shame the dog on the table next to us hadn’t been left at home, no good...read full review

So good! All of our food was delicious. The staff was so helpful and friendly and gave great recommendations. We wish we could've eaten there twice. Days later and we were still talking about our dinner at the Stag Inn.
