Called in for a few drinks with friends. Although the place was busy, there was still the opportunity to sit down and chat while having a drink. The staff were polite and the prices reasonable.
We had a party of 28 last week for a Christmas lunch. From start to finish we were treated with such kindness and helpfulness.Harry was so helpful in helping me book and suggesting seating arrangements. Ellie was so calm and helpful whilst taking our orders. Met up with a friend at Xmas the place was packed ordered food was quite surprised how quickly it was delivered considering how busy they were. Minus points were there were too many tables at the top, not allowing people to access tables and wouldn't be very accessible for people with disabilities. The food is basic like all of their pubs. It is what it is, and you know what you're getting. Would return just not when it's that busy
