The Lock Keepers

Friday night meal for two. Staying at Mooring Post overnight. Short menu which usually means good food, and we were not disappointed. The lamb and chicken were well cooked, but the vegetables were outstanding. Portion sizes were spot on. Desserts also very good. Apple and blackcurrant crumble and custard, biskoff cheesecake, neither came out of a cardboard box. If I lived in Gloucester I would be a regular visitor.

Great to walk round the Over Basin after the meal, and try and spot the bats flying around at sunset.
