We had fantastic few meals here at the Griffin, Lucian was our waiter twice, and he was fantastic! (From the US, therefore needed a little interpretation for the menu ) It was charming atmosphere, great drinks, and amazing food.
One of my favourite places! It’s a very cute and cozy pub, has place for parking next to it, has very friendly and attentive waiters, and finally the food is really lovely (I think they have the best fish and chips in Reading so far)

Had a great time at the Griffin, nice and warm inside, attentive and helpful staff, delicious food and a great atmosphere. Our server Lucian was very helpful and fun, even indulging in our silly questions. A great experience all round.
