Have been to this venue a few times..its very niceToday we were a group of 9 and as they had another large group in we were advised book for 2 pm.As our meal progressed we realised many of the staff had gone leaving one very nice young man to serve behind the bar and look after us ....not his fault at all, poor chap, was rushing around trying to do it all, so service was very slow.If you're advising customers to book a bit later at lunch time I'd hope to see at least two members...read full review
Been here plenty of times. A well kept pub with nice outside seating. Good service throughout. A wide selection of drinks available and I especially enjoyed the Tiny Rebel Easy Livin IPA. A worthy stop if passing or looking for a traditional pub.Prices must have gone up allot since my last visit as 3 pints, 1 coke and 2 nuts came to an astonishing £27.

We always enjoy visiting the Wheelwrights. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are always pleasant. Some friends live locally and can walk but for those of us who drive, the car park is a real asset. We usually find something on the menu to tempt us. Yesterday we all chose from the lighter plates and found it a good alternative to a main course at lunch time.
