Such a great night at the Low Stakes Comedy show, Valerio is a really down-to-earth MC with a hilarious dry sense of humour, the intimate setting means you feel like the acts are there for your personal entertainment, and it's easy to see that this is someone's passion and that a lot of effort is put into these shows. I would highly recommend.

I would like to say that we have recently moved to Wokingham and we were not sure which Indian restaurant to attend as there is quite a few to choose from. We’re having our kitchen done, so this was the perfect opportunity to try lots of tasty dishes! And tasty they absolutely were!!! We walked into a very warm atmosphere. My husband and I like diff dishes and couldn't decide, so we ordered Lamb Karahi, Lamb Rogan, Saag Paneer and aubergines plus the Garlic Naan and Biriyani. All I can say is the Masala the dishes were cooked in was so delicious with fresh garlic and pieces of ginger my fav over all the dishes and the fresh coriander, was just amazing. I requested little oil and that’s what I got, so many times the dishes are swimming in oil, but this was done with very little oil just like my mum used to make it. Food is balanced not too hot as that can ruin the dish, medium is perfect! Anyway we have not stopped coming here, the owner is so helpful and friendly to us, as-well as the staff. The place is being renovated and when it’s done it will look Fabulous. I’ve even recently ordered lots more dishes as I had family over and agin service was fabulous, on time, lovely fresh food cooked every time time, even on a Sunday when they were closed, they made n exception to come in and cook early for us, so flexible. I would seriously Highly recommend this place, food, service and great traditional dishes, great portions, reasonably priced! Everything we need, and so local to us! I went here with a group of friends for my birthday lunch in August. It wasnt great weather so we dined inside. We passed through the lovely, music themed garden on the way into the pub and I believe they hold music events here as well. A lot of thought has gone into this and it has to be one of the quirkiest pub gardens I've seen.
The interior decor was a similar theme, it isn't a huge pub so booking is probably wise at busier times.
The staff were friendly and chatty and the food was good pub food. I had the scampi and chips which was very nice and there was plenty of food on the plate for all the dishes chosen.
All in all a pleasant lunch and I would be happy to return.

Me and my best friend always come here for dinner. We love the food so much, we get the same order every single time. I ordered chicken milanese and my best friend ordered grilled sea bass with veg. We spend hours talking in such a welcoming and aesthetic restaurant and the service is so great, we feel comfortable to come back every time. The waiter/ waitresses are caring enough to always check on us and if we need anything else (such attentive people). And of course, the owner himself is part of every single positive experience we’ve had… he is literally so lovely. However one thing that blew us away was when my tip of £10 was refused because they only cared that we had an amazing experience (which we definitely did!). I’ve never had my tip given back to me at any other restaurant, which just shows how genuine these people are.

Absolutely outstanding! Chef Peking serves truly authentic food with incredibly prompt and friendly service. I work in London and live in Ascot, and it’s well worth the drive just to have dinner here. Every dish is packed with flavour and clearly made with care. The team makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Can’t wait to go back — this place is a gem!

My first time here and I was really impressed. The staff were amazing, and couldn't do enough for people, not just our large group. The menu has some classics as well as a couple of dishes that were new to me. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and when it arrived it was piping hot. I've been to restaurants where the food had clearly been sat on the pass for a while. Not the case here! The portions were generous, too, and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely go back. Highly recommend ??

This is the best restaurant in town, we always go back. Fantastic super fresh food, from the starters to desserts, also the wines and grappa are amazing! The staff and service are super nice and professional. If you want to eat proper Italian food, here you definitely will!

Booked here for a birthday dinner and they couldn’t be more accommodating and friendly. A table of 14 of us and Amy our waitress was very patient whilst trying to rally up the orders! I like this restaurant, ots dated ecor, is food, but the Staff are very standoffish and not at all friendly but having said that they are professional and take orders quickly and deliver the food and drinks promptly . When I asked what the house wine was I was told Italian Red in a snotty manner. This is not the first time I have left this restaurant with the same thoughts about the Staff.\n\nThe food is good and lunch menu is is exceptional value at two courses and a glass of wine for £114.50 we added desserts and coffees and for three it cam to under £70. No service charge was added by the restaurant to the bill.\n\nI recommend this restaurant if you like formal dining and will be going again to try it out in the evening.

Had a fantastic experience at Hamlet in Wokingham town centre! The ambiance is wonderful, but what truly made our visit exceptional was Cassie. She is the absolute star of this place, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Her friendly, attentive service made me feel right at home. It’s rare to find such a personal touch nowadays, and thanks to Cassie, I will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend Hamlet for a great time!

The best kept secret Indian Restaurant in Wokingham. Went there for a family meal on Sunday and the food was excellent. I frequently visit the Sultan and they never fail to amaze. Well priced, and super fresh. A long serving family business that has been embedded in our community for over 20 years and deserves our support. Thank you again, will be back!
