Mill Ln., Taplow, MaidenheadSpecial occasion and we pre-ordered, however, the host's main was incorrect. The starters and desserts were lovely-looking, however, nobody raved about the mains.

Rectory Rd, Taplow, MaidenheadFirst time for quiet Friday lunch. Fish and chips and steak and kidney pie (homemade) both very nice.
Very friendly welcome on arrival. I understand it can get quite busy but on this occasion we didn't need to book. Will be returning.

Lake House Cafe
Amerden Ln, Taplow, MaidenheadSecond visit here [last one May 2023] and still loving the place! Excellent lunch with an obligatory Belgian beer! Staff polite, great mix of customers and fab atmosphere. We look forward to returning for a Belgian Beer Event!!

Berry Hill, Taplow, MaidenheadGorgeous historical building set in beautiful landscaped garden and woodland with luxurious spa facilities and delicious lunch menu. Thoroughly enjoyed my spa day with my daughter - the relaxing massage was just that!

Bel & The Dragon - Cookham
High St, Cookham, MaidenheadGood and traditional Place, lovely building, the food is delicious, but the only bad thing, always, is part of a Brunch Company, in this case Fullers, all menus the same in all pubs, really small adaptation for the community, take out the personality of the pub and workers, when the CEO never touch and work in a Pub create a roles and menus like a Fast Food restaurants and when are you find a traditional british Pub, i not find a London Restaurant managing with a Office Bussines people.
Guys is not a complaint, the staff is very Kind and the food is delicious, but need to descentralitzating the managing for more freedom and adaptation.
I dont Know the rooms because i just stay here for food and wait the bus to come back to Windsor.

The Astor Grill
Cliveden Rd, Taplow, MaidenheadWe were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and had the best time! The Astor Grill wasn't what I was expecting but actually worked out much better than I expected. It felt like a much more cosy and intimate space. The staff were impeccable and truly made our experience even better. They all took exceptionally good care of us and definitely went over and above to make us feel special. It didn't hurt that the food was lovely and the menu was diverse enough to suit everybody.
I would happily recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a slightly less formal setting than the main house to enjoy a wonderful meal. The Astor Grill will definitely be a place we will return too. Thank you.

Bella Italia - Taplow
Unit 7 Bishop Centre Bath Road Taplow, Maidenhead Berkshire SL6 0NX, Taplow, MaidenheadWent here on the off chance and we are so glad we did. We received absolutely first class service, good food and had a great evening. From the moment we were welcomed to the time we left the staff were friendly, attentive but not pushy , and couldn't do enough for us. Also amazing to find somewhere that offers a decent cup of tea as a hot drink choice. The starters were good and the minestone soup was delicious. Apparently its a new menu item and we would recommend it. We also enjoyed the flatbread starters but would opt for the caramalised onion flatbread over the garlic one next time. The main dishes were okay although the bolognese could have had a bit more meat and £3 for the extra pork belly strips didn't seem great value for what we got, so we probably won't have them next time. Other than that the food was good and serviced piping hot, which we cannot say for some of the other places we have visited lately. It clearly wasn't on a counter waiting to be served for very long. The hand grated parmesan, and plenty of it, added a lovely finishing touch to the pasta dishes. A very special thank you to the staff on duty and the chefs for a great evening.
