Mill Ln., Taplow, MaidenheadLoverly restaurant that is old fashioned in a very good way. From the moment we arrived for lunch until when we left we felt like valued customers, with attentive but not intrusive service. The technical skill of the chef made the dishes very enjoyable. And it is clear that everything is done from scratch. Very slight quibble that the batter on the fish in the house fish and chips could have been a bit crisper. The calamari however was outstanding because the batter was chrisp but the squid was tender, in most restaurants it is over cooked.
The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and although the wine list is pricey the house white was excellent. This was our first visit and looking forward to the next

Lake House Cafe
Amerden Ln, Taplow, MaidenheadGorgeous setting next to a lake with plenty of wildlife, delicious breakfast, super friendly and accommodating staff especially as I have a nut allergy & wanted porridge all of which had a nut ingredient. The staff couldn’t be more helpful in amending the dish to make it allergy free.

We saw the Anong Thai a year ago as we walked along the high street and have been looking forward to trying it.
We were not disappointed in any way.
Cozy, well laid out, comfortable, warm, very welcoming.
Our host took time to explain the dishes and we felt unused.
The food... just very, very good with quite generous portions that were piping hot, obviously very fresh and very fragrant.
Everything was beautifully presented, service was polite and attentive.
We don't often leave a £20 tip but what the staff produced for us was just so very good.
Thank you Anong Thai for a lovely evening.

The Astor Grill
Cliveden Rd, Taplow, MaidenheadWe were a party of 10 for a family celebration. Admittedly it was a Tuesday Lunch but absolutely superb in every way, Drinks, Food, Service all A1, The Room is really nicely decorated with old Horse Stables converted into Booths for 4/6 people. The menu is varied so something for everyone and really tasty won’t be the cheapest food you will have but considering the surrounding and the history of the venue hard to beat, Would recommend to anyone

Berry Hill, Taplow, MaidenheadGorgeous historical building set in beautiful landscaped garden and woodland with luxurious spa facilities and delicious lunch menu. Thoroughly enjoyed my spa day with my daughter - the relaxing massage was just that!
