We went for Sunday lunch. We had booked in advance but you might have got a table if you just turned up. There looked to be a few free. The sharing platter for a roast lunch was absolutely excellent. You can choose a selection of one or more form a list of 6 meats including lamb, pork, beef, chicken, ham and nut roast. We went for lamb, pork and ham. We were a group of four adults. Well what can I say about this little pub, it was a gem of a find. Lovely atmosphere and the bar staff very friendly and catered to our needs. Served us dessert really quickly.. really enjoyed it too. It was only a quick visit. But will definitely stay longer next time.
