Tucked away on Brook Street this was the first time we've visited the Deva Tap. There is an excellent selection of beers and ciders, well presented with chalk boards overhead to make your choice easier. I had two pints of a lovely, hazy IPA which was good enough to drink every night without getting bored of it. Both the strawberry and pineapple ciders, one still, were great. Popped in here on my own for a half before meeting a friend for tea, wow, very impressed! Staff are lovely and can’t do enough to help you, the selection of drinks is fab. Some people around me ordered food, it looked amazing, I can’t wait to return to eat here.

What a find! Super friendly pub in Chester slightly outside the city centre circuit BUT well worth the few extra minutes to get there. Superb *gourmet* burgers at reasonable prices. The Ruben special with pastrami and pickles was to die for! Great range of draught beers in excellent condition. Listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for a reason. Well worth a visit.....
