We love in Helston , but had never been to Trengilly Wartha Inn previously (our friends Mel & Chris had). What a fantastic pub!! Food was fantastic (2xpie 1xsteak 1xscampi and all had puddings, the Bailey's cheesecake was delicious). Staff were also brilliant. We even got to meet the pub dog noodles. We'll be back. We were staying nearby so had an earlyish Dinner....loved the decor and friendly welcome. Great atmosphere . The food was excellent. Very different from when I lived nearby 52 years ago (it was a bit more like a Country Club back then) !!!! The current owners have really done a great job and we will definitely return when we are back in the area.

Excellent restaurant menu delivered promptly by well trained attentive staff. The first course of home made lobster bisque was particularly impressive. Very pleasant evening indeed. We also enjoyed the wine and breakfast. The bedroom accommodation was however on a different level and rather disappointing with a rather antiquated bathroom.
