Had a lovely meal here today. Staff were so friendly to both us and our two dogs. We arrived just before the end of the lunch service and they were still willing to serve us! We were so lucky as the food was lovely!
Meal booked for 5.30 - pub busy with lots of locals enjoying the sun. Excellent steak and chips ( don't get the salad leaves though ). My wife's Scampi was excellent as well followed by a shared sticky toffee pudding to die for - the best ever !!Great waitress service. Outstanding

I've not been to this pub for years but visited today for lunch with my parents. We had a delicious roast, served by friendly, attentive staff in very pleasant surroundings. Will definitely return again soon as we were very impressed.
