Had our 10th Anniversary meal at Henrock and what an experience it was. Service was exceptional and the meal to die for. Pre dinner drinks overlooking Lake Windermere in the gardens set the tone for a fantastic evening.Whether it was my constitution I don't know, but the bavette of beef with its smokey flavour remained with me for the whole meal, though did not interfere with the meal as a whole.
A beautiful hotel set it stunning grounds. The staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay special. We dined in Henrock and the food and service was impeccable. Breakfast the following morning was very good and the service was excellent. We have read the earlier reviews about breakfast but have to be fair and say we encountered nothing but great service and quality. Any earlier issues have obviously been remedied. WOW what a hotel. If you can definitely a place to stay if visiting the lakes. The hotel, staff and grounds are fantastic. With the Henrock restaurant in the hotel if you want to stay and dine in. Make sure you visit the viewing points around the grounds and the
