When we were here, August 2022, only take-away was available. The line was about 15 people deep, so I figured the food had to be good. We were staying at The Sun and they offered no meals except breakfast (for overnight guests). After driving from Broadway all day in the rain, we needed food fast! We visited Coniston recently and spotted Our Plaice on the way back from a day out. The queue was out the door, but the wait was worth it. Everything is cooked fresh as you go in. Honestly the best steak pie I’ve ever had, even compared to sit in restaurants.
