We have just got home from a perfect 2 night break staying in the Cartmel Fell Suite. Jason, the team & pub dog, Bess, were all on hand to greet us & ensure we had everything we needed & more during our stay. The room was lovely- ideal for the dogs as we have our own garden. I booked a 2 night stay in the strawberry bank suite to celebrate my partners birthday. We received a lovely warm welcome by all staff, especially manager Jason who was very attentive and friendly. Drinks and food superb with large portions and service great. Very pleased with our room, large bath and tea and coffee facilities. Really lovely pub to visit! Great selection of ales and beers and excellent wines which can be hard to find in many pubs! The staff make you feel comfortable and welcomed! Superb views from the outside beer garden! Love the inside fire place and the open fire is especially welcomed! Great pub! Will be dining there soon!
