A fantastic place well worth a visit. A real Ale haven, perfectly served and fantastic choice. The food is incredible. Dogs welcome. The staff are knowledgeable and can't do enough to make your visit a memorable experience. By far the best beer garden in Cumbria.

Server - MichelleVisited Ambleside for the weekend for a Lake district holiday, and stayed at the Daffodil Hotel and Spa which recommended Tweedies to us. Not sure why the negative reviews, perfectly good hotel. We stopped for a 2 night stay, it was a very comfortable stay with a good breakfast each morning. We also ate in the bar which was very nice and good quality. The staff were friendly and attentive. Grasmere is a delightful place to stay very pretty village. Please don't be put off by negative reviews.
