Lovely cosy inn, lovely home made hearty food and a nice atmosphere. Dog friendly, made a massive fuss of our dog. They have a help yourself dog basket with bowls, biscuits and blankets inFood was lovely. We both had a burger, partners was GF so minus the bun then we both had sticky toffee pudding. Popped in unplanned for an early evening drink. The food smelt so good we stayed for an excellent burger and chips. The menu is simple and certainly not pretentious but what we were served was beautifully cooked. There was also a lovely atmosphere in and outside the pub which is clearly dog friendly. Recommended.

Fantastic pub, the staff are so welcoming and helpful,nothing is too much trouble.We have eaten here 3 times now and the food has always been great.Our last visit was on Sunday so we had the sunday roast and it was lovely. My hubby said it was one of the best he's had which is a huge compliment as he normally says mine are the best. Can't fault this place.We love it
