We had a great experience at this particular Joey’s cafe. It’s rustic and outdoorsy which makes it so welcoming and cosy. We visited on a quiet and slightly rainy morning and it was perfect. There’s a car park close by and it’s a great base for a walk.I’d recommend sitting out in the “sun terrace” area which overlooks the lake with a hot coffee and cake. Cute little cafe run by local couple, great staff, great food and it's vegan too but you can't tell so it's healthy for you and the planet without knowing it?Great for a walk in the woods along the lake shore to Wray Castle from the ferry, pop up to Claife heights to look over the lake then pop in the cafe for coffee and a cake before heading to the castle for lunch. ?Vegetarian options: All vegan except the cows milk
