Went at 1.30 with a group of friends. Good menu with the Chefs special being festive hotdogs and chips. The hotdog sausage was wrapped in bacon with stuffing, brie and cranberry. It came in a toasted brioche bun. Very filling.Parking: There is parking at the pub or along the side of the road.
Perfectly placed just off the A66 and M6 at Penrith, we dropped in here for some lunch on our way from east anglia to Scotland. Very friendly and welcoming traditional local pub, good selection of food including lunchtime sandwiches etc.
