lovely pub, fantastic ales, great veggie roast! finding a sunday roast as a vegetarian often fills me with dread but this mushroom wellington and a good veggie gravy put my nerves firmly at rest today. great stuff
It was just perfect, friendly, welcoming - nothing was too much trouble, great food and selection of drinks - our room was beyond our expectations, and it was super dog friendly too - we were sad to leave, but looking forward to coming back again soon x

Always come here when we are in The Lakes. It’s a great pub, great atmosphere and a fabulous menu. Love the ambiance with the log fires. Food is amazing especially the specials nights which we did both the Curry Night and the Steak night. Great value too. Just a great place !!
