Booked in for evening meal while on holiday in the area. Excellent meals, large portions Would definitely recommend but would ask for a different table next time as there was constant 'traffic right next to our table from a group seated in the annexe with children and teenager running past. Not really the fault of the staff but it did detract from what would have been a 5* rating. Could not fault our meals and the pub is dog friendly.
Decided to eat out as it was such a lovely evening and really made the right choice going to the Wild Duck.Food was excellent and reasonably priced the garlic mushrooms and sizzling chicken in sweet chilli sauce was an excellent choice. Food looked so good forgot to take a photo.Service was totally outstanding and all the staff couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Thanks for such a lovely relaxing night. Will definitely be back very soon.?

Brilliant food. First class staff. No complaints only praise. Went here a couple of times whilst staying nearby on holiday. Dog friendly which is essential as you can't leave dogs alone in the holiday let. It could do with a bit of a tart up on the outside as kerb appeal isn't the best and gives you the impression this isn't a top notch food establishment - that is until you get inside and realise it's ace ?
