Absolutely lovely experience. Landlord and Landlady very friendly and attentive. Food good. Log burners very welcome as a very cold day. Have not been there before but will most definitely be returning.
Great place, I hope it will stay so good for years to come as we would love to come back again. We have visited twice so far, both times the staff was very nice and polite and the atmosphere very cosy. But the food is the best bit. Everything we had tasted like the best, most genuine home cooked food. Prices very reasonable for this quality of cooking and ingredients.

Turned up on a Saturday afternoon and got a table in the bar next to a beautiful fresh lit fire the ambiance was so warming. We ordered a black pudding baguette and a turkey dinner and they both came out hot good portions and so tasty! Personally the nicest baguette iv had in a long time. The stilton sauce was so good. Thank you and we will definitely be back. Great choice well priced.
