Overpriced not very good food. From the eating in menu it seems you are paying an extra £3 per item for eating in when £5 a sandwich is pretty steep when it is bog standard. Bread was dry on my sandwich, got the type of bread wrong that I asked for. The ham and cheese didn't have much flavour. The vegan roll was bland and parts of the bean filling were hard and dry. We stopped off at this very popular cafe/takeaway on the Monsal Trail.The coffee was very good.The staff friendly and happy to serve you.The food was excellent, we had a vegan roll and a panini, both beautifully presented and served with a fresh, crisp salad garnish and homemade coleslaw.Well worth a visit.

My sister, the dog and I have visited the last two weeks in a row, for lunch. The cafe is beautiful- clean, spacious and (most importantly at the moment) cosy-warm. It’s right on the Monsal Trail and the super friendly smiles from the lovely staff were much appreciated after our beautiful long walks. I can recommend the cheese jacket potato and the dog wolfed down her sausages! Lovely mugs of tea and hot chocolate were equally well received. We will be back soon!
