A cracking little micropub in Buxton, Derbyshire.4 very well kept beers available on cask, as well as bottled beers and soft drinks.This is mainly used by locals who by the way were very friendly. Even the pub dog came over to say hello.It was a wet day when I visited and the fire roaring was a welcome sight that's for sure.Would definitely recommend paying this place a visit.

Dropped in for a visit after making the trip up to watch my local club Rushall play Buxton at Silverlands and this was my first point of call.Opposite the church, its a tidy little microesque bar. Walking in on a cool October day it was really warming (literally) to have the fire crackling away at the one end.At the other is the bar, with a comic book littered wall of inages on the one side. A great friendly little bar frequented by locals & real ale drinkers alike. Usually a selection of 4 cask ales on tapg, a pale, a stout/porter & 2 tradional bitters. All locally sourced breweries, no multi-national beers sold here. Recommended.
