Expensive & served less than what it states on the menu.I ordered the Full English, it was one of the smallest full English breakfasts I've ever had. Also the menu states it comes with "a Derbyshire Oatcake" but was actually served half an Oatcake.Overall based on this and the price at £12 for a full English just not that impressed, very small and over priced. At the cost I would if expected the full Oatcake at least, as it states on the menu.Staff were friendly and polite.
I have been in a few times to this wonderful place, always great, friendly service, wonderful food & a cracking cup of tea. Have taken my elderly mother here several times & she absolutely loves it especially the very friendly staff. It is the sign of a good place when the owners takes the time to come & have a chat with you & not just a quick hello but 5-10 minutes. I love the place & so glad we have a place like this in Chesterfield

Visited yesterday for the first time & whilst the staff were lovely, unfortunately we wouldn’t return due to the price. The food was ok, nothing special, but for what it cost I had high expectations. We had a BLT, Ploughman’s sharer & minifish with chips. Plus 3 colas £60.The sandwich alone was £12!I also didn’t like that no one came out to offer us a menu or take our order, I had to go ask for a menu then go back inside to order!
