After a walk we called in at The Swan for lunch. We received a warm welcome from Alison behind the bar. The food was incredibly amazing! We were expecting some average pub food but the pizza and grilled sandwich were beyond gastro quality. Stephen, the chef, came out and we talked about his food. The care and quality is amazing. A stunning pub, nestled in beautiful Ashover. Dean & Dave are breathing new life into The Swan, with a great menu, scrumptious food & a warm atmosphere. The grilled cheese sandwich was by far the best I have tasted. Our dog was made so welcome and friendly service made this lunch visit something we strongly recommend. 5*

First visit to the black swan,found it a lovely atmosphere meal was amazing and very dog friendly, owners very friendly and chatty,definitely would recommend.will be visiting again in near future.....yes I did look at the doggy dinner menu for my little girl but she decided on bangers mash and peas, Bella says compliments to the chef
