Church Rd, Darley Dale, MatlockWe visited on Sunday for an impromptu Sunday lunch. We were wet, cold and hungry and were looking for a nice meal. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, they took the time to say hello and make a fuss of my children which was lovely. The sunday lunch was the BEST I have eaten in a pub/restaurant (no exaggeration). Our bill was £54 for 3 sunday lunches, 2 soft drinks and 2 beers - very reasonable.
Do not hesitate to eat here, you will not be dissapointed.

Had a lovely walk in the park which has two ponds and a nice play area down the bottom, nice as a stop off onto Matlock.

Audley St Elphin's Park, St Elphin's Park, Dale Rd S, Darley DaleWe went for Afternoon Tea, to celebrate my birthday, it was absolutely lovely to go back to St Elphins, I have not been back for 40 years since I left there as a school girl, but we were looked after really well by a lovely blonde lady (used to be a teacher, sorry didn't catch her name) the food was perfect, we were absolutely stuffed and had to take a few cakes home with us. But would highly recommend and we will come back.
