The Flying Childers Inn
Main Rd, Stanton in Peak, MatlockCharming little pub, classic have pump ales and super friendly staff. Live music was great too. It's a small pub, but it's a wonderful step back in time and I really recommend you try it.

Fern Bank Bed and Breakfast
Church Ln, Rowsley, MatlockA really charming and beautifully-presented guest house in a peaceful rural location. Our room was comfortable, homely and had a lovely view (with comfy chairs by the window so we could enjoy it - a nice touch!). The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and Helen, the owner, couldn't have been kinder or more thoughtful. Everything about it spoke of care, thought and attention to detail, but with a genuine sense of hospitality. Dogs very welcome (not just tolerated) in all parts of the house and, yes, the breakfast was excellent. A real find, and we hope to visit again.

The Peacock at Rowsley
Bakewell Rd, Rowsley, MatlockWe had the valentines taster menu and it was absolutely superb. The service was fantastic and they went over and above to accommodate my food allergy, and changed dishes as needed.

Massarella’s Restaurant
Peak shopping Village, Chatsworth Rd, Rowsley, Matlock6 of us had a meal there. The kids had sandwiches, crisps, a chocolate biscuit and a drink in a little bag. They enjoyed colouring and doing the quizzes on the bag ?. The adult meals were tasty. The cakes were lovely.
