Quirky styled old mill, beautiful atmospheric vibes. Helpful friendly staff. Extensive menu choices. Dog friendly. Can imagine this place to popular in the summer with canal side beer garden.
We arrived without a booking and although they were extremely busy we were made welcome and a table was found in the bar which we didn't mind. We had been sent away from the Dog and Duck also in Shardlow despite having booked a table there. The bar area is cozy and a lovely atmosphere. Fantastic food and service. This is our local pub and eat here frequently, food is always outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. Good selection of drinks on tap and can accommodate all tastes. I would highly recommend for a family meal or just drinks with friends, always welcoming by all staff.
