Been coming here all my life and I will still to this day tell anyone I know from anywhere in the world that this pub is by far the best in Sheffield! Atmosphere is amazing, the people are great, the staff are brilliant, the food is lovely, the beer is out of this world.... Need I say anymore ?

Best in Town?\n\nWe visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, and it was such a delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe that made it the perfect place to enjoy the weekend.\n\nThe staff were absolutely fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made us feel right at home and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Service was quick, but never rushed, which allowed us to truly enjoy the meal and the moment.\n\nThe food was simply delicious. Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. From the pasta to the pizza, everything tasted authentic and made with love. Portions were generous without compromising on quality, and the balance of flavors was just right.\n\nOverall, it was one of those meals that leaves you smiling long after. Hidden gem , with brewery on site serving some wonderful ales and porters .Numerous guest ales at very reasonable prices prices .Served by Megan the Landlady ( always smiling, happy and welcoming), dog friendly- which is always a plus +.WellWorth a visit and will endeavour to callIn again for a fine pint of ale .

A proper rustic country pub, with a real fire for the colder months. Extensive range of real ales, ciders, lagers. Limited bar snacks available.Dog friendly. Conservatory seating area available. Dogs welcome.

Ayeshas Authentic Indian Restaurant & Takeaway

On arriving, we sat down in front of the bar. We were there for a while until we were asked to confirm who we were and a drinks order was taken. After this our food order was taken. We then waited a while for a table, though we were given updates regarding how long we would have to wait, which was good, though the escort to our table tended to feel somewhat rushed. On seating ourselves, again we waited a while to be served, though granted it was a busy Friday night. Then cutlery and plates were placed on our table somewhat roughly, an audible noise as plates hit the table for instance. A little later our order was served. Again this was put on the table somewhat brusquely, mushrooms almost falling off the plate of mushroom pilau. However, on tasting the food, it was found to be flavoursome and well cooked, though my Bhuna was a little cool. Toward the end, we ordered two more bottles of the excellent "Black Sheep" which were brought quickly. On the whole, we enjoyed ourselves and felt we'd had a worthwhile evening at a reasonable price and decided that we may visit again.

Chequers (Coal Aston)

Really good service. The sever (Ross) went out of his way to make sure our niece was happy. He interacted and chatted with us which was lovely. It’s never nice if you go somewhere and people are going on autopilot and don’t interact but it’s Ross was so warm and friendly. \nMy niece didn’t like the food she picked because toddlers and Darren had no problem changing it for us at all and reassured me I didn’t need to feel bad about it. \nThanks for being so great! \nMassive kudos to Paul, Darren and Ross.

The Cross Daggers

went up for the Quiz night to alleviate the boredom of my hotel. Had a great night. The locals and the staff were extremely friendly and chatted away freely. its a proper pub with some nice ales and ciders. Highly recommend a visit if you are passing through or staying in the area.

The Hyde Park Inn

The atmosphere was absolutely amazing here. As a visitor to the area I was made to feel very welcome. I will definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.

The Tickled Trout

Simply stunning food and fantastic service. The whole experience was amazing and well worth the trip from Kent. The pork in particular was a highlight, but everything was so good it only just stood above. Have the pie, have the pork - just order as much as you can fit in! Kudos especially to the young pastry chef who made the Paris Brest. Stunning work. We will be back. Thank you.

Rutland Arms

Nice local pub, haven't spent much time inside as it is on a Sunny day walk route for us, so we sit outside at a picnic bench.
No fruit ciders such as Lilley's on tap but they have bottles of Old Mout.
No meals are served, but they have crisps and nuts.

Royal Oak

Absolutely fantastic pub , a true hidden gem. The food choices here are fantastic, but down to earth. It's real food you really want to eat , in a cosy environment. Be sure to order something from their insanely good cheese board menu - so many options !
We loved their stew in a fresh crusty bread loaf, nachos , fish fingers sarnies and small plates too - you can't go wrong ! 10/10

The White Swan Dronfield

White Swan in Dronfield is the best place where to feel expected and looked after. Amy and Tom have turned this place into a homely venue where you simply want to come back again and again. They organise sports events in the function room where they serve beautiful food and make sure that the atmosphere is fit for all tastes. The White Swan is our local pub where we love to come and enjoy a pint or two. Thanks a million! We wish you a productive and prosperous journey through the years to come.

Dronfield Deli

Our daughter arranged an afternoon tea for family from 100 miles away, for a 70th birthday. The staff co-operated fully to ensure that even if she was held up on the M1, she would be able to collect the teas ready for the family gathering. There was so much food and all was absolutely delicious. The delicatessen took the stress away from her and enabled everyone to have a good time. Thank you so much!
