Holy cow, I just ate the best roast dinner that I've ever had. The Anglers achieved something I didn't think possible at a pub Sunday lunch - actually medium rare roast beef. And the assortment of sides was not only extensive (think root veg, buttered greens, stuffing, mash, pigs in blanket, roasties and a Yorkshire pudding) but outrageously tasty. I’ve been to this Pub for many years when visiting the peaks! Always a winner and produces the best food!! You can tell it’s a proper English local pub. Chef came out to talk to us about a particular dish and the staff were very helpful!

After a long night of camping my mate and i were trying to find somewhere to eat when we found the anglers cafe. After going in and asking for a menu we were told that they weren’t serving food for another 2 hours, however, the staff were lovely enough to make an exception and served us the nicest breakfast we’ve ever had. Would highly recommend this place, deserves the full 5 stars.
