The Packhorse Inn
Main St, Little Longstone, BakewellLovely little village pub with a great selection of ales from the Thornbridge brewery. Cosy and warm inside and a quirky sitting out area round the back where the pleasant staff went above and beyond in making our walking group welcome.

The Merchant's Yard
St John's Rd, Tideswell, BuxtonWent for Sunday lunch today, We had booked and it was a good job the restaurant was 3/4 full by 2pm. The place is very nice and has been refurbished to a high standard and ample parking. We had some drinks in the bar before and it was pleasant. We all chose Sunday lunch that is served on a board in the middle of the table. Food was hot and ample portions. Young staff but really good service, very attentive enquired if everything was ok and did we need any extra gravy ? We did ? Think the roast was £17:95 Chicken and £19:95 for beef. The total bill including drinks was £140:00 for 5 people. Great Value and will definitely go back and try the main menu…

Cock & Pullet
Main St, Sheldon, BakewellIf you are wanting a fancy pub with pink walls and purple furniture that serve rare breed, grass fed burgers served in a brioche bun topped with artisan cheese alongside hand cut, skin on, triple cooked chips all served on a roof slate you probably won’t like this place! If you want a proper Derbyshire pub experience with fantastic, tasty and well priced traditional pub food then I seriously recommend this pub. We will most definitely be visiting again and again! Thank you so much for a great evening…
