What a fantastic pub!!!!!! My wife and I found this by accident and rediscovered it on purpose. Arrived when the rugby was on TV, great atmosphere and lovely staff and customers. The seating outside on a summer's eve was perfect and the atmosphere throughout was warm, relaxed and friendly.Returned late afternoon midweek to find chilled tunes, different (but still lovely) staff and quality beer. After years of drinking in this venue I already know it’s the best pub in the town, Jon excelled himself tonight with an incredible band! Absolute pleasure to be there to hear them!?

Popped in for Sunday lunchtime drink! A real pub joyfully decorated in Dartmouth fashion! The service at the bar was quick, friendly and very pleasant and the drinks very quaffable??!! As we left the bar person wished us a lovely "goodbye see you again!" This was a much appreciated touch of old school hospitality that is mostly missing these days...left a smile on my face as we left..we will return???
