We were a group of sixteen away on Exmoor needing a good meal after a cold day out. The Poltimore Inn provided was welcoming and friendly, exactly what we were after. I had booked a couple weeks before and we ordered on the evening. The food came out all together and ready to eat for us as a large group. We went for a meal on a Tuesday evening in October, the pub (Inn) was nicely busy with a mix of locals and tourists. The atmosphere was lovely, very warm welcome from the lady serving behind the bar. The food was delicious, well prepared, especially the homemade pumpkin soup, and the Prawn linguine. The waitress was positive which made every interaction enjoyable. Another plus it was great value.
