I recently stayed at The George Inn and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, modern in their amenities, and maintained at a comfortable, warm temperature which was much appreciated. We had a lovely overnight stay in this charming hotel. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. We loved the traditional feel of the place and enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant. The staff were very friendlyRooms: The hotel was rebuilt in 2010, but the traditional features and feel has been retained, but no creaky floors or stairs. Rooms with underfloor heating and solid furniture.

Took pot luck and booked at short notice and was pleasantly surprised. The room was tastefully furnished with great facilities and a good selection of teas / coffeees hot chocs and biscuits. The staff were 1st class and the included breakfast was a great end to our stay. I would recommend and would stay again without hesitation.
