This place is a gem of a pub. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the whole pub just feels like a local place should. There's a good choice of beer and gins, and the food was lovely too. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
Great venue for a large family gathering. Welcoming hosts, excellent beer and wines, an extensive menu ( even for 3 of our group who are vegan) .The waitresses were friendly and helpful and the food was enjoyed by all and we sampled a fair proportion of the menu between us!Highly recommend - in fact well be back tonight just to try a few more things!

I visited here with my sister in law and my nephew on the evening of September 28th 22This is a cosy and quirky pub with a beautiful back garden. A great pint . We all ordered the sirloin steak which was very reasonably priced . Two were ordered medium rare and I asked for mine blue. All 3 steaks were cooked perfectly. The staff here were attentive but not over the top, welcoming and with good humour . Highly recommended. Thank you for looking after us ?
