Iddesleigh, WinkleighWhat a truly fantastic find! ? A wonderful authentic traditional old English pub that dates back to the 15th Century. Excellent, super tasty pub food, with equally good, very friendly service. We had the Sunday roast (turkey and lamb with all the trimmings, including a proper home-made individual Yorkshire pudding) and lamb shank, followed by sticky toffee pudding and custard. The pub serves good selection of beers and lagers, is very dog-friendly and has a lovely central open fire set in an inglenook fire place. Absolutely perfect! We will definitely be back.

One Market Street Cafe
1 Market St, Hatherleigh, OkehamptonFood was excellent, the staff were wonderful and friendly, and the cafe itself self was cosy and comfortable. Tom, the owner, very kindly, picked up my handbag that I left there and posted it back to me in Kent. I would have been lost without it!

5 Market St, Hatherleigh, OkehamptonPopped in for lunch on the way home today. Just wanted to thank the bar lady and the Chef for a pleasant experience. The place is tucked away and easy to miss but well worth a visit. The food is reasonably priced and mine was better than what I’ve been served at some “premium” places. Proper pub food. I would recommend the lasagne which we had, it was lovely.
Well done guys, solid food, reasonable prices. Excellent ?
