My wife and I called in for Dinner my first impression was that it was very quiet, however the locals and the staff were very friendly and quite happy to chat. We decided to try the steak I had a ribeye and she who shall be obeyed had the sirloin. One of the best pubs ever, have 2 beautiful dogs that fell asleep on my lap, and were very well behaved. Food was cheap and absolutely beautiful. Chef was extremely friendly and kept us updated on our food and brought us some amazing home-made sauces. One little dog was so friendly, and jumped up on a chair if anyone stood up, and rested their head on my leg while eating which I didn't mind, but he would move if asked and would sit behind the bar. Amazing pub, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Delicious homemade food the chef couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Thank you Andrew for our wonderful food.
