Was staying at a nearby campsite and rang for a table on the night they managed to fit us in, asked for directions and walked to the pub single lane and sometimes no pavement arrived 30 mins later ordered food an it was amazing the turkey and ham pie was to die for. The portions were large and great value for money really good atmosphere and really warm with the log burner, just what you need on a chilly night. Lovely pub in Ipplepen my Auntie kath and Uncle Pete are regularly in there as they live in the village and said it was the best Sunday carvery. It didn't disappoint we was given plenty of meat and a excellent selection on vegetables. The desserts are to die for also. Will definitely go again when we are down in Devon next.
