I had the butter chicken, which fabulous.My husband had mentioned on booking that it was for my birthday, & when we arrived the table was beautifully decorated with balloons & a birthday banner, then afterwards we were surprised with a slice of birthday cake & candle & they sang happy birthday to me - it was so lovely. Thank you to all the staff at Jeffrey's for making my day even more special. ?The food was amazing - but we already knew this from previous take away purchases. We highly recommend Jeffrey's . ?Parking: Restricted during the day, but easy during the evening .

Gold St, Ottery St Mary, Ottery Saint MaryVisited The Kings Arms for the first time yesterday, such a nice pub with a great atmosphere. The Sunday roast was excellent. Loads of seating outside to enjoy the sunshine and a drink in the sun!

11 Mill St, Ottery Saint MaryAt the Bay Tree Cafe, 11 Mill Street in Ottery St.Mary, you are always guaranteed a warm welcome, good Service, and well-cooked wholesome food at very reasonable prices. It's a no-Frills Cafe, not a Restaurant for Visitors, so if you are looking for fancy Coffees, expensive Pastries and Avocados you had best look elsewhere. The Bay Tree can oblige with a great Fry-up or a tray of Fresh Local Eggs however. The good food and excellent value for money attracts folk from all walks of life from workmen to pensioners and everyone in between, so the Bay Tree can sometimes be quite a busy Social Hub. The only negatives are that it can suffer with heavy condensation on cold days so the front door may be open wide, and the local Mobile Internet Reception is often poor, just like the rest of Devon.

I say this as in all my 40+ years of living there, I've never had such consistent and tasty chinese food as this restaurant! Always hot, always tasty, never greasy and always get a large free bag of prawn crackers too! 10/10!!Vegetarian options: The veggie noodle are always packed with fresh vegetables. And the other options are always on point too!

46 Mill St, Ottery Saint MaryHi , yes the restaurant is poor as a visual aspect. However, every time I take away or eat in, we enjoy it. My vindaloo, not my usual was excellent, the coconut rice, sweetness coupled with the heat ?.The lady chef is a delightful cook of authentic cuisine.

17 Mill St, Ottery Saint MaryYou and Me has been my go-to Chinese takeaway ever since moving to the area.Online ordering is very quick, easy and even lets you pay via card including the use of Apple or Google pay. I used to frequently order for home delivery but now prefer to order online and collect as it’s cheaper and the wait is not as long.Food quality and quantity is great, my particular favourite dish, which I am eating as I type this, is the Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken which tastes lovely paired with some egg fried rice.
