Really down to Earth pub serving beer only.Really friendly locals and welcoming owners. Good meat draw on a Sunday.Selection of real ales as well prices very reasonable.Come along and try it yourself, you will.not be dissapointed
What a fantastic find, hands down it beats going into sidmouth itself. Absolutely great landlord and landlady, proper traditional pub, great selection of beers/ales etc, local clientele are so friendly and welcoming. More than fantastic value for money too!!!! The garden is great (especially in the sun), there’s a traditional skittle alley, pool table and darts. Superb meat raffle every Sunday, supplied by the local butcher’s. This pub has become the great local pub it deserves to be. With a new landlord and landlady installed, it is now the best (and possibly the cheapest pub) in the Sid Valley. Live music has also made a welcome return to the pub with bands on every 2 months or so. The first event was packed. So good to see this friendly, welcoming pub back on its thriving again. Come down and support it.
